The media plays a vital role in the narration of migrant and xenophobia-related issues, as well as public perception of migrants in South Africa. They have a duty to report responsibly, sensitively and impartially on such issues and the “Reporting Responsibly on Migration” Journalism Workshop will unpack exactly how this can be done.
